INTHROUGH IS

GLOCAL

On this page you can access policy recommendations for local authorities to promote the non-formal education in and through sport. These recommendations are designed to be implemented on the local level, but also distributed globally in order to boost their reach and impact. By combining global and local INThROugh became glocal. This also means that our recommendations are applicable in all European countries.

LOCAL POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS

Within the “INThROugh” project a set of evidence-based policy recommendations was developed and introduced to local authorities for them to be included into their Youth Action Plans. The goal of these recommendations is to give impulse to local authorities and stakeholders in ensuring the access of young people to education in and through sports.

Benefits of local policy recommendation

EMPOWERING YOUTH PARTICIPATION IN SPORT

One of goals of the local policy recommendations is to promote and empower youth participation in sport and physical activities, that represent a key step in their mental and physical development and well-being.
